- tokonomy_dev 3 hours agoLove this. The line is the perfect way to think about this. I can’t imagine that organizations, especially ones concerned with actually making money and taking market share, wouldn’t want to do more with the saved time rather than “save money” (lay people off). If you can offload rote work and move faster, you become more competitive theoretically, so firing talent (unless the talent is just performing the rote work) doesn’t make sense. But companies who sell AI like to use headcount reduction as a marketing tactic to sell their wares.
